I was responsible for managing the accounts and finance department of the prestigious 24x7 water supply project in the heritage city of Mysore.The role involved compliance with the commercial clauses of the water projects,timely raising of invoices, financial due diligence of new projects, preparation of budgets and reviewing project costs, follow up with commercial taxes department in connection with commercial taxes matters.

I was deputed to M/s Nabadiganta Water Management Ltd. (SPV of JUSCO Ltd. and Voltas Ltd. for executing a water project) as Finance Manager and was directly reporting to the CFO.I was responsible for setting up of the financial, accounting and secretarial function from scratch.The role involved creating the accounting infrastructure,preparation of financial statements,getting the accounts audited, follow up with banks for timely loan disbursements, filing of all kinds of statutory returns with Income tax and Commercial taxes department, circulating the notices and agenda of the Board meeting,convening the board meeting and preparing the minutes of the meeting.The profile comprised of accounting and secretarial functions.
