I am an adventurous guy who loves snow skiing, scuba diving, and traveling. I have been to many countries. Also, I have lived in several countries. I have lived in Botswana, Africa, Moscow, Russia, Tallinn, Estonia, Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa, and The Gambia, West Africa. My interest in IT began when Windows 3.1 had just come out. I bought my first computer and instantly knew that Information Technology was a field I wanted to work in, so I attended Computer Cad Industries for training and became certified as a Microsoft Certified Professional. After receiving my certification, I was hired by Lockheed Martin and worked as a Problem Resolution Specialist. I was responsible for Desktop Support for all their offsite locations in the area around Fort Worth, Texas. Next, I moved to Botswana, Africa, where I worked with the Assemblies Bible College, helping to maintain their network and teaching computer classes to the students. When I came back to the United States, I went to work for TEK Systems on a project to migrate all the computers in the Texas Health Network hospitals to Windows 10. Then, I was offered a position with PENNYMAC as a Help Desk Technician, where I was responsible for troubleshooting and fixing VM issues. I worked there until I moved to Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa. In Côte d’Ivoire, I worked with the Assemblies of God World Missions and was responsible for helping to setup and manage the Microsoft Teams environment for West Africa. During my time at PENNYMAC, I worked with the cloud environment there. I really enjoyed the work with the cloud, so while in West Africa, I began training to get my AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification. Now that I have completed my training, I am looking forward to working for an organization where I can use my previous experience and my new skills to be an asset to their company.
