My name is Cade Arafiles and I am a fourth year entrepreneurship major at Menlo College. I live by the saying “Give a man a fish, and he is fed for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he is fed for a lifetime”.Many associate learning with education, when life itself is the greatest teacher. Being born and raised in rural Hawaii, along with volunteering my whole life, I quickly came to understand that one can serve their community not only through providing physical goods and labor, but also the transfer of knowledge. As a passionate learner, I aim to utilize my knowledge to make a real impact on this world while teaching others to love “fishing”.
