About Cade H.

After four years of military enlistment I went on to leave the Marines in 2004 for higher education, and began my college career to attain a Bachelors degree in the information technology field. I took classes in network implementation, network administration, database management, internet technologies that included HTML coding, and several other business classes. I graduated with my Bachelors degree after only 2 years. During college I began to work for Action Technology Services. No less than a month of employment I was getting letters from customers telling my supervisor how good of a job I was doing. Installing a cat5 network in a local bank to installing a wireless network for emergency management and the local police department were some of the best tasks that I got to get my expereince level up. I started going to school again at Mt San Antonio college in Walnut California. My course work included Linux operating systems, network vulnerabilities, and network analysis for my first semester. My last semester included Windows operating systems, network security, and internet technologies. After college I started work at AT&T and I was to take orders to test a neighborhood distribution panel for their new U-Verse we were to bring to customers. During this job I was reminded how important it was to have proper grounding and load balancing of the telephone copper pairs. I also received a great level of customer interaction while performing my job. I had been given an opportunity to work for the federal government on the Marine Corps base in Twentynine Palms California. Here I furthered my knowledge of outside plant cabling and also data center design. Here I learned how to gain skills in splicing fiber optic strands as well. I developed enough skills and on the job training to earn a level comparable to journeyman. I also have earned a BICSI Level 2 Installer in copper, and BICSI Technician certifications.
