Hello, my name is Cade MacMiller, and I'm a Business student at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. My intended major is Business Management. I am currently a Senior and have been at the university for the past three years. In 2020, I attended Security Forces Tech school to complete my certification to become a Military Police Officer. I graduated in spring 2020 with Distinguished Airman, which is an achievement for most outstanding student. I've been employed through the United States Air Force for the past 4 years. My duty station is in Madison Wisconsin. I am a member of the 115th Security Forces squadron at Truax Field acting as Military Police for the entire base. This job has taught me the skills of communication, discipline, determination, and many combative/hands-on skills. As a Security Forces member, work came from operating Eletronic logging systems to conducting traffic stops and providing base security. In summer of 2022, I attended Combat Arms Instructor school in San Antonio, Texas. I learned what it is like to be an expert instructor of firearms and how to master the ability to operate the functions to better help myself teach my peers. My biggest responsibility is to make sure 1200+ airmen have up to date qualifications and operating firearms to complete certain duties. With me being a part of the Air National Guard, I attend work once a month, mostly completing qualifications for certain jobs around the base that are past due. Along with completing qualifications, I had to record the completed scores into AIRES(Advanced Imagery Requirements and Exploitation). I have qualified groups from very little people to 40+ people in the span of 5 hours. Doing qualifications can span from working the firing-line to making sure everyone has the correct amount of expendable ammo for the certain task at hand.Overall, in my free time I like to hang out with my friends around the city of Oshkosh. I am an active participant and watcher of all sports. I like to watch and play golf, basketball, football, and hockey. Having sports in my life takes up most of my free time and has been a part of my life since I was a little kid.
