As a prospective engineer, I couldn't be more excited to get my hands into the work force and take the next step in my journey as a mechanical engineer. I have a deep passion for the 'why' in everything I'm involved in and once I dive deep into the subject, my curiosity runs wild. I chose mechanical engineering for the simple reason of how broad it is and how I've been able to gain knowledge in that field but also from other disciplines. I have become enthralled with many aspects of the mechanical engineering field since starting my post-secondary educational path. Since then, I have found myself working in the construction and automation industry while also becoming increasingly interested in the automotive industry as well in my free time. The cool thing is that with a degree in mechanical engineering, I am able to explore all of these industries. To better describe more about myself, I should share that I am a social person with the desire to work in a team setting to accomplishment big goals with other hard-working people. I've been told that I have natural leadership abilities and I usually tend to find myself in that position. In my career, I hope I am able to use my technical abilities concurrently with my aforementioned, personal skills.
