Hello I am Cade Richards,I am expected to graduate from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor degree in Mathematics in December of 2026. In college, I have grown my passion for doing design work and established a passion for programming CNC Mills and Lathes to manufacture products. I have completed several personal projects and have learned many stages of the manufacturing process from designing parts, prototyping and finally machining out of the desired material. Some of the products I have designed and manufactured, on my own, have been utilized on various cars in motorsports across the midwest. My experiences at Speedway Motors as an intern has taught me a lot about what it means to work as an engineer. I have learned how to keep organized and communicate with others on the team when I am completed with my portion of the project. I also have gained experience with learning drawing standards used in the industry.
