Current• Oversee the Senate Bill 1383 exemption program, collaborating with numerous businesses in Vacaville to process and coordinate exemption applications. Conduct site visits to assess and document waste streams, determining eligibility for exemptions.• Revamped the exemption application process by developing a dynamic application and tracking system in Microsoft Excel. This tool facilitates real-time updates and collaboration between the City of Vacaville and Recology Vacaville, resulting in an expedited and accurate system to process exemption applications.• Contributed to the design and approval of Non-Compliant Notices issued to businesses failing to adhere to state health and waste regulations.• Perform random contamination audits at businesses to ensure compliance across their three waste streams.• Schedule and lead meetings with the program team to present project findings, enabling strategic planning for both short- and long-term implementation goals.• Manage extensive spreadsheets containing hundreds of data points, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and ensuring data integrity.• Engage with Vacaville residents to address grievances and complaints, effectively defusing high-stress situations through clear communication.• Educated the community through outreach, this includes Tabling Events and Recycling Presentations.• Using an internal database called Recyclist, I manage and upkeep thousands of records on businesses. This allows the City of Vacaville and Recology to maintain accurate information and statuses of every single business in Vacaville.
