I design quantitative solutions for making smart and profitable business decisions. I am an Economist (UCV), although before I was a Chemist and I dedicated myself to it for many years. My specialty is the use of quantitative techniques to help in the correct making of business and investment decisions. I have a Master's Degree in Operations Research (UCV Engineering Faculty) and I'm doing a PhD in Economics (UCAB). Currently I work in Investment Banking services at VIPCapital, the largest firm of its kind in Venezuela. There we do mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising and technical advice for investment. I'm flexible. I have had to reinvent myself several times. I have studied barismo (Academia "Pasión del Barista" in Bogotá), because I like the world of Coffee, from primary production to the cup. I love economics in all its facets, but especially macroeconomics. My interests are very diverse: Investment and Retail Banking, Strategic Planning, Macroeconomic Analysis applied to decision making, Business Forecasts, Production Optimization, among others. My personal research topic is the techniques for creative problem solving in companies, called Design Thinking, a valuable technique for the innovation of products and services in business and social contexts. My previous experience in Chemistry allows me to understand industrial processes very well. I have also been a competitive professor at the UCV School of Economics for 9 years.
