Caden Banta joined HDR as an Oil and Gas Coordinator in May of 2022. He has worked on a variety of oil and gas pipeline and facilities projects, including utility relocation and re-rate study projects, review of more than a dozen regulator stations related to a pipeline upgrade, a high consequences area pipeline replacement, and compressor station design projects. Caden’s roles on projects have included project coordinator and materials expeditor as well as quality control reviewer. He has also organized and created technical documentation for new facilities and pipelines to assist project teams. Previously, he participated in several award-winning research projects while pursuing his mechanical engineering degree. Caden was the project communications lead and autonomous vehicle operator for an Office of Naval Research project, the lead project manager intern for an American Society of Mechanical Engineers Petroleum Division Collegiate Council project, and a mechanical engineering materials research intern for Vossloh Fastening Systems.
