Former medical assistant for two years. Decided to transition to a new career that aligned with my passion and creative personality. Living in the Bay Area and hearing about programming and developers build web and mobile apps sparked my curiousity and inspired me to learn to build apps. After some online reseach and browsing various resources, I was hooked. I enrolled at City College to take basic web development classes to improve my programming skills. Shortly after, I interned at a non-profit organization as a web development intern to manage its website and built and deployed a new eCommerce page on WordPress. After my web development experience, I joined Techtonica as a software Engineer Apprentice to build up my full-stack application and JavaScript knowledge. With advanced training in JavaScript, React, and PostgreSQL; I built a JavaScript game, React apps with Postgres, and a React Native app with Firebase. I love to translate ideas and build it into web and mobile applications. Being new to the field, I'm always looking to connect, share ideas, and learn from each other.
