My name is Caden Tran and I am a sophomore at The University of Texas at Dallas. I am currently majoring in Computer Information Systems and Technology. With my degree, I plan on pursuing a career in Cybersecurity but may explore any different paths that may interest me. I am open to any internships and opportunities that will allow me to take some steps into this field and understand its background. While studying for my classes, I also want to embrace the opportunity to learn more, gain hands-on experience, and grow as an individual. Although I have little work experience, I am driven to try out new environments and work alongside people who will help me grow and see themselves improve around me. What excites me is the opportunity to join a working system and analyze how people with different minds come together to work efficiently. I will be able to work well alongside others as well as solo and I come into all situations with an open mindset, willing to listen to any ideas people have to offer. I am ready to continuously learn and keep my skills up to date with the constant evolution of technology in today's world. I look forward to meeting and working with new people and understanding their work. I aim to participate in lab exercises, gain certifications, and look into outside opportunities to enhance my knowledge. I hope to connect with everyone, from professionals to fellow students.
