During my time at M&M Construction I went through many different roles. During my first season, in 2019, I was a concrete laborer. After 4 months our team was short handed on concrete finishers, leading to the progression of learning the art of finishing concrete. During this time I discovered my passion in construction and decided to pursue a B.S. in Construction Management. Throughout my schooling I continued to work with the M&M Construction team and build my skill set and knowledge in the Built Environment. As I became more efficient in the concrete world, I decided to take on more responsibility. When returning from school, I was placed under an expierenced leader, learning more of the management role. This allowed me to build my skillset as a leader. The skills I gained from this position are effective communication, time management, job site awareness, concrete finishing, concrete quantity estimating, and leadership. I’m very thankful for the opportunity M&M Construction provided me, allowing me to get a taste of what happens in the field and on the management side of the concrete world.
