I am a student in my second year of the Sport Management program at Humber College whose personal mission is to leave a positive impact on the sports industry. I started playing as a goalie in hockey when I was 14, and since then have had a growing interest in sports. My interest in sports led to me applying to Sport Management where I have since learned about different areas connected to the world of sports including marketing, psychology, risk management, HR, and tournament/facility management. These areas have given me access to valuable skills such as time management, professional writing, budget tracking through Excel, and programming software used in the sports industry such as ActiveNet, PerfectMind and recdesk. I am driven by my values of Honesty, Loyalty, Friendships, Humor, and Fun both professionally and personally. These values allow me to create meaningful connections with others and contribute to a collaborative and trustworthy environment.Currently, I work at Natures Emporium as a culinary clerk where I am a valued part of a team and actively providing customer-focused service, leading to positive reviews as well as repeat customers. The experience I have had working at Natures has shown me how important effective communication and a good team are to overall, and personal success. Outside school and work, I enjoy watching Montreal Canadiens games and occasionally attending local sporting events like the Blue Jays. I have a passion for sports, especially hockey. Over the next 5 years, I see myself playing a part in the success of the sports industry. Whether it is sports marketing, psychology, risk management, or sports business, I am excited about exploring opportunities in the industry and learning from others who share a similar passion.
