I am a quick learner and organized Software Engineer at AVT Simulation. I am comfortable writing, editing, and debugging C++, Python, Java, Bash, Batch, and SQL. I am very familiar working on, with, and in a Linux environment and have been doing so since high school. Along with that, I have familiarity with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Atlassian Tools, Agile environments, VIM, VS Code, and Visual Studio; this is complimented by my strong ability to troubleshoot which has been refined over many years. This ability translates very well into debugging code, which allows me to quickly write efficient and maintainable code.I'm working on some personal projects including an AWS-utilizing Scrabble app with cross-play and up to 4 player support as well as some custom Discord bots that I run from my own server. I also have utilized Docker to set up a Nextcloud file hosting website on my server that allows my friends and I to quickly and easily share large files.
