Dancer, actor, and... coder? Yep, that's right! Contrary to the stereotype, I'm a computer programmer who loves to be active and social. I've been clogging for just over 5 years and I've already earned national titles such as All-Star All-American and Utah State Champion Male Freestyle. I'm also an actor at my high school, have had multiple roles, and have done choreography for three productions. These experiences have taught me how to work hard, work with others, and stay positive when things don't work out they way you hope. I'm also an aspiring software developer. I've taken four computer programming classes, and I have an internship at Q90 Corporation where I do software development work on their largest product, CILSuite. All throughout high school, I've been one of the best coders in my programming classes. I'm constantly helping teach others and am frequently working above and beyond just the minimum requirements of the assignments. I love learning new concepts and applying them into projects I'm currently working on, and I love the satisfaction of a job well done. After I graduate, I hope to go to college at BYU to study software development with a minor in world dance. I want to be able to make a living at a small company as a software developer with enough flexibility for me to continue to compete and possibly teach clogging through my adult life. All in all, I want to be able to make a positive difference wherever I end up.
