My experience in leadership and management through my time as an Office Manager for Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. and as Operations Manager for WCJU Radio has grown. As an office manager at Encore, I had many duties including patient intake and verification of insurance, as well as collection of copays. I’ve spent countless hours communicating with large insurance companies verifying patient benefits. A part of my duties was being solely responsible for collecting all payments and properly depositing them, as well as providing ad hoc support around the office. As a board operator for six years at WCJU, I frequently did many different jobs within the radio station, beginning with scheduling programming with our software and quickly moving into recording commercials, going live on the air, and broadcasting sports events. My time there was finished as an Operations Manager where I provided support for daily station operations, which improved my time management skills. I continued my education at Pearl River Community college and later the University of Mississippi. While furthering my education, I’ve been honored to join many leadership and honors organizations such as Phi Theta Kappa, Golden Key International Honor Society, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and Phi Kappa Phi.
