Caesar has extensive experience in the area of law enforcement. His assignements have included working as a Training Officer, Instructor at Training Division, Community Relations Section for the Chief of Police, Juvenile Investigation, Detective for West Los Angeles Burglary, Field Sergeant for Pacific Division, and currently, Sergeant II Investigator for Internal Affairs.Caesar has written and published training material for the LAPD in areas ranging from laws of arrest, search and seizure, use of force, officer involved shooting protocol, Miranda rights, and interogation practices. The material is in publication and is used department-wide.In addition, Caesar has developed an expertise in the area of Community Relations. He was chosen to work for Chief Bratton upon his appoinment to the LAPD. While working Juvenile Investigations, he helped develop a community based program to assist at risk youth by providing them with guidance and mentoring. He was awarded the LAPD's Crystal Angel award for his effort. He has continued to be a strong advocate for mentoring the young adults in our community.
