Senior Assy/Test Technician Rf/Microwaves
Current• Quality testing and measuring finished products, components, and assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy and assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications.• Inspecting passive microwaves components following printed documentation and verbal instructions.• Testing materials, products and working in progress for conformance to specifications, adjusting process and assembly equipment to meet standards.• Examining, adjusting and repairing finished products and components or parts.• Performing precision measurements using Vector Network Analyzer to verify compliance with internal specification over wide frequency range.• Assembling strip line, micro strip and airline directional couplers, Wilkinson power dividers, hybrids, DC block, filters, cable loads using soldering stations, hand tools, fixtures, microscope of surface mount components and making adjustments to the circuit to fine tune device to the specification.• Disassembling defective parts and components.• Performing calibration and on of the Agilent ENA5071 and8753D Vector Network Analyzer using calibration kits.• Setting up Network Analyzer to properly measure requiredspecification such as insertion loss, VSWR, isolation, directivity, amplitude and phase balance. Make adjustment to the devices to meet required specification.• Performing measurements of the Passive Intermodulation (PIM) using Summitek Instruments test set. TroubleshootingPassive Intermodulation Test Setup for proper measurementsin the -160 dBc range.• Keeping record of the measurements on the server usingcomputer and Microsoft Office applications and Adobe PDFWriter.• Marking up prints and writing engineering change notices.Working with engineering managements to further improveproducts and documentation.• Designing company web site with knowledge HTML, PHP, CSSscripting.• Developing repeatable and reliable tuning methods.
