•Project Management. Planned, executed, and managed a mission-critical Covid-19 vaccination initiative to integrate immunization data across DoD, resulting in complete, timely, and accurate reporting to both the CDC and DoD’s senior leadership. Managed development and implementation of a new, centralized vaccination data broker and repository system within DHA’s information platform, deploying self-service business intelligence capabilities for users across the Department and replacing an aging data broker. The successful implementation of the new broker system saved DHA $1.6M in sustainment costs by allowing for an on time sunsetting of the legacy system.•Relationship Management. Managed relationships with DoD Armed Services and Joint Staff Surgeon leadership. Bridged relationship gaps by helping EIDS leadership better understand functional owners’, issues, and concerns. Regularly attended meetings and conference calls. Resulted in enhanced rapport and cooperation with critical stakeholders.•Stakeholder Management. Worked closely with functional champions and technical partners in the Services, record source data systems, various public health divisions, and DHA/DoD leaders to ensure all key input was solicited, requirements captured, concerns addressed, and expectations managed throughout projects.•Communication Leadership. Served as the face of EIDS at meetings symposiums, trainings, and the 2022 HIMSS conference. Crafted presentations for audiences at various levels to effectively communicate our projects’ objectives and impacts.•Quality Improvement. Led development and deployment of national standard vaccination record deduplication rules in DHA immunization. Worked with Services and electronic health record system product owners to improve the quality of data inputs.•Reporting. Worked closely with CDC to develop and implement a Covid-19 vaccination reporting feed directly to their Data Clearinghouse.

•Project Management: PMP certified. Triaged high pressure software implementations for 11 hospitals worth several $million in revenue. Employed conflict resolution, negotiation and project management skills to mitigate technical, logistical and relational issues resulting from staffing changes. Resulted in delivering original project plan on time and on budget.•Customer Advocacy: Restored relationship with key customer by employing conflict resolution and empathetic communication to build relational bridges between internal staff and POC. Used deep listening skills to identify misunderstandings and leverage common points of interests. Resulted in engendering good will and trust from client that has laid foundation for resolving future conflicts.•Client Consulting: Led team demos that generated $millions in quotes for expansion and new implementation. Demonstrated institutional knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD) health systems to showcase software’s ability to streamline patient records and reporting requirements; and to advise on technical architecture and best practices.•Crisis Management: Averted potentially disastrous customer crisis by alerting customer CIO that their onsite server room overheated to 100F+. Proactive measures led to shutting down of server room and saving $millions in potentially lost equipment.•Intuitive Relationship Management: Bridged relationship gaps by helping leadership understand nuanced perceptions of customer based on observable non-verbal behavior. Resulted in enhanced rapport and positive customer interactions.•Technical Management Expertise: Oversaw implementation of 10 complex, high stakes server migrations during centralization of 56 DoD network sites. Coordinated multi-hour Med-COI calls between multiple stakeholders using effective conflict resolution and project management skills to ensure real-time decisions were deployed with minimal impact to military health systems.

•Created and led a five-member informatics system solution team servicing the Cancer Center’s clinical research programs. Assessed project needs to identify where new technologies would transform performance. Resulted in increased system functionality, significant process improvement, higher-quality data, and HIPAA compliance.•Provided informatics project management, implementation, and business requirements analysis to client researchers. Managed client relationships and projects, translating functional requirements into technical specifications and overseeing projects from initial consultation through go-live. Resulted in consistently high client satisfaction, successful system implementations, and requests for continued services on new, ongoing, and troubled projects.•Led the evaluation and selection process for choosing new systems, including REDCap, Tonic, and SQL Server as standard data capture and integration platforms. Implemented new data capture methods and processes and retired legacy systems, producing greater data usability and quality, reduced system fragmentation, faster deployments, and greatly increased cross-functional team knowledge.•Designed and led the implementation of ground-up systems for the Cancer Center’s patient recruitment program, resulting in patient-facing systems that have recruited 2000 patients and captured robust clinical, treatment, family/personal disease history, and genetic/genomic data for new studies.•Managed Cancer Center-wide data integration project, harmonizing several years of patient records for a mission-critical National Cancer Institute (NCI) grant renewal. Resulted in excellent reviews from NCI and facilitated regulatory compliance with NCI’s Clinical Trial Reporting Program.•Created, redesigned, and implemented SOPs for project requirements gathering, product selection analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, implementation, documentation, and ongoing support.

•Managed consulting firm’s second-largest software vendor partnership and four subcontracts, interacting daily with client and vendor management teams. Resulted in successful system implementations and new business opportunities. •Led eight-member consultant team that provided business requirements analysis and software implementation services to Fortune 200 and smaller companies in a variety of industries. Resulted in significant savings for the companies and both high customer and vendor satisfaction.•Documented requirements and designed/implemented configured solutions for projects. •Monitored project statuses, approving billable hours/expenses/reports, and wrote employee reviews.

•Managed all data and developed database systems for population science studies, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications and several new grant awards.•Expanded and improved methods and tools for data capture, integration, storage and analysis, including SAS, MS Access, SQL Server. Resulted in greater efficiency of collecting and analyzing study data.

•Created and maintained more than 100 SAS and SPSS datasets for data integration, maintenance, and storage in IBM/MVS and Windows environments.
