CurrentAs a Senior Government Actuarial Consultant and Talent Development Leader in our GHSC practice, I have a wide range of responsibilities, which include:1. Medicaid Project/Actuarial Lead: I am the project/actuarial lead of a team of professionals with expertise in actuarial science, data management, and project management. Together, we ensure the successful execution of all projects for one of our client's State Medicaid programs.2. People Management: I have the privilege of managing a diverse team of 19 consultants. My primary objectives are to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to empower them to excel both professionally as consultants and personally as individuals.3. New Hire Training: I am responsible for overseeing our comprehensive new hire training program. This program caters primarily to college graduates and interns during their first month as consulting analysts, but also extends to experienced hires and subcontractors. By providing valuable training and support, I ensure that our new hires are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful at Mercer GHSC.4. Recruiting: I oversee our GHSC college recruiting efforts. For the last couple of years, I have been involved with the hiring of more than 50 talented college graduates. I also support to the GHSC experienced hire process as a hiring manager and an interviewer.
