Reporting: Senior General Manager (Finance & Accounts)Area Handling: Capex Management- Capital Proposal/Request For Assets - Assisting in Project Appraisal for Operating Units/Brownfield/Greenfield expansion - Evaluating cost estimate and calculation. - Review of project financials like IRR / NPV / Payback etc. - Review the inclusion of non plan projects and its adjustment to approved plan and budget for the year.  Annual Capital Planning and Budgeting- Compilation of capital budget and plan spent for all location/plants. - Categorising and reviewing the impact of the proposed budget- Review of Project Economics and Rationale for major proposed capex. - Reviewing the performance of previous year plan and inclusion of savings/contribution in operating P&B figures. - Analysing of capex trends w.r.t number of approved projects started in the year and spent levels.- Reviewing the projects to surrender/dropped/differed.- Preparation of presentations and analysis report.  MIS (Greenfield & Brownfield Capex Report) -Monthly reporting of location/plant wise project expenditure with variance to plan spent.- Analysis of movement in commitment figures for the reporting month and taking corrective measures, if any.- Reviewing the allocation of project expenditure into various budgetary heads.- Monitoring project expenditure - Monitoring project expenditure viz-a-viz allotted budget and commitment and flagging for project/package nearing cost overrun.- Preparation of reports for management review. Trade Finance - Letter of Credit/Bank Guarantee/Foreign Supply & Service Remittance/Withholding Taxes/Compliances/BOE filling/Interaction with Bank Intimating forex cover for limiting forex exposures and subsequent utilisation / rollover / cancellation.  Foreign Vendor Management – Financial & Commercial Interlock with plant for financial, accounting & commercial issues

Responsible to control daily accounting and reporting / Monitor expenses /Provide assistance in Project Management in commercial contracting, cost control and liasoning with various groups associated with project. Part of the team for planning and strategising in managing the project.
