I’m a serial-entrepreneur and e-business pioneer with more than 20 years of experience in interactive media, online publishing and dot-coms.I co-founded one of Europe’s first interactive agencies, Young New Media, in 1996 and helped shape interactive media as a genre by fusing graphic artists and developers into first-ever new media teams who created earliest examples of interactive user interfaces for major clients such as DHL, PwC, Siemens and Microsoft. A whole generation of UI/UX artists who later dominated interactive agency ecosystem, emerged under my creative direction in Young New Media and we’ve been honored with tens of prestigious awards.I co-created Beyazperde.com in 1999, one of the first movie portals ever, and lead it to major success by skillfully implementing community management and inventing genuine SEO technics. Mynet acquired Beyazperde.com in 2006 with its 500K loyal members in one of the earliest acquisitions in Turkish dot-com scene, who later sold it to Allociné in 2010.Another dot-com, TvdeNeVar.com, a TV portal which I co-created in 2006 and awarded with Golden Spider Web Awards 2 years in a row, acquired by Dogan Holding in 2008.I rebranded the DirectIQ (an intelligent email marketing service I co-created for Young New Media) as an international SaaS, and helped move its headquarters to New York. Since then, DirectIQ has been established well with customers from 112 countries and serving to major clients such as PwC, KPMG, Bureau Veritas and offices in Europe and North America.In 2016, after 20 years, feeling accomplished, I left all my companies (as well as DirectIQ) for a new series of digital adventures.
