Summary Of The Internship The Company where I did my internship is called Turk Telekom. My internship started on 22/07/2013 and lasted for 4 weeks until 20/08/2013, with the official working hours starting from 9am to 5pm. During the internship, I straddled in the department of Storage and Backup Systems along with the field work associated with the department. There are 2 sections on This Department;Storage SectionBackup Section In my 4 week internship , I worked both sections. I learnt how to storage and backup in Turk Telekom, RAID method , Turk Telekom’s Storage and Backup technology and SAN network in my internship.Responsibilities:Tape support, including vaulting, inserting and ejecting tapes from tape libraries and tape drivesTrack media movement; check media in and out from offsite storage; maintain media shipment logs and documentationMaintain and operate tape drives, including cleaning as per scheduleBackup scheduler result verificationMaintain scratch poolLabel and format mediaEnsure sufficient media and labels are availableAssist with other backup and storage duties as requested

My internship started on 17/06/2013 and lasted for 4 weeks until 12/07/2013, with the official working hours starting from 9am to 5pm. During the internship, I straddled in the department of Network along with the field work associated with the department.There are 3 section on Network Departmant ; 1. Data Section 2. Transmission Section 3. Central SectionI worked in the network departmant about transmission and data systems section. I learnt how to data transmission at Türk Telekom.
