A day in the life of me in 2003 as a 10 year old went roughly like this: Come home from school & log on to MSN Messenger without changing out of my uniform, engage with my favorite communities on Harry Potter forums, write all the weary details of my life on Blogspot, HTML-code my Myspace profile, all the while blasting Avril Lavigne’s Let Go at full volume.I remember my parents’ fear that I would never ever hold a job, as I seemed to have an unusual way of enjoying life, by creating content and managing communities online, in a world where the word “online” carried little weight.Fast forward 20 years, I am still creating content & managing communities online—except now, it is part of my beloved job as the Founder & CEO of Walrus Creative Works, a full-service digital marketing communications agency.I am a storyteller at heart & a digital native. I see everything as potential content, view life from the lens of marketing, have an eye for trends before they become trendy.
