Ceylan is an accomplished Electrical-Electronics Engineer who completed his Instructional Design education at WIU with a perfect 4.0 GPA. He began his career as a Network Specialist at Protek, Turkey’s first computer company, before contributing to VEDOP, Turkey’s largest network project, as one of only two Network Specialists, successfully collaborating with the Ministry of Finance under Cybersoft.With engineering experience at ASELSAN and ToyotaSA, he advanced to IT Consulting at Funika Holding, ultimately serving as IT Manager for a decade. During this time, he implemented numerous software, hardware, and network projects across industries, including automotive, textiles, manufacturing, and media. Alongside these accomplishments, he earned certifications from CISCO, Microsoft, Linux, and MSSQL, establishing himself as a subject matter expert in IT systems, databases, and networks.As a co-founder of yoktu.com, a pioneering Web 2.0 lab initiative, Ceylan’s team launched Turkey’s first Podcast Player and RSS Reader. Projects like FeedMaker and PagePal gained international recognition, including coverage on TechCrunch. Partnering with Sevenice LLC, he spearheaded the development of Turkey’s first mobile apps, including those for CNNTURK, KanalD, StarTV, SiberAlem, and more. His team also implemented Turkey’s first Facebook login-based WiFi access project nationwide.Ceylan’s innovative solutions extended to launching a Semantic-Focused Continuous Search Engine, enabling real-time web content monitoring and updates via email—one of Turkey’s first services available for purchase via credit card.
