As a student aspiring to build a professional career in a dynamic and competitive environment, my internship experience at a well-established logistics company like PSA BDP was a significant opportunity and a learning journey for me. PSA BDP provided me with valuable insights into the complexity of global logistics operations and the steps required to execute them, contributing significantly to my understanding in this field. I completed my internship within the Ocean Freight Import Operation Department. The goal of my internship extended beyond applying my theoretical knowledge into practice. It aimed to enhance my teamwork, SAP, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. Working in PSA BDP's dynamic business environment, it was crucial to incorporate these skills into daily operations. I had the chance to gain extensive experience in various aspects, ranging from maritime transportation to customs procedures, operational coordination, and customer relations. These experiences not only taught me how logistics processes function but also helped me understand how customer satisfaction and efficiency are achieved.

The Martrade Group, ıt provides specialized logistics through three main business units. These; Sea Freight, Port and Terminal Operations and Logistics Project Services. Martrade Group stands out with its innovative problem-solving approach even in the most complex and unstable geopolitical environments. Each service division within the group stands out with customized solutions tailored to individual customer and project requirements. During my internship period at Martrade Group, I had the opportunity to obtain information about different project transportation works in the Industrial Project Department, the duties and responsibilities of the project manager, and the reports he was obliged to give to the company managers. In addition, I observed what kind of responsibilities we have towards our customers and the companies we are customers of. I have observed that there is an immediate continuity of project preparations in port operations and in the office.
