I am both a Certified Music Therapist and a Registered Cardiology Technologist. I have years of experience between both careers, and it is truly an honour and a privilege to be of service and trusted by people during their most challenging life experiences.MY MTA WORK:I finished my degree in Music Therapy from Capilano University in 2022. I have worked with a variety of demographics including youth, children, ASD, ADHD, mental health for adults and older adults, dementia, assisted living, and independent living. Currently I am on the Canadian Association of Music Therapy Advocacy Committee, as well as the Music Therapy Association of British Columbia CEU committee.MY RCT WORK:I have been an RCT in Alberta since 2012. I have practiced cardio technology and mentored for the majority of the time since then. I have held executive positions as an Education Assistant and Education Coordinator for the ASRCT, presented on electrophysiology, and curated and executed education days. I currently hold a position as the Communications Director for the Cardiology Technology Association of BC and practice at LGH and RCH in North Van and New West respectively.
