As Online Grocery Pick-Up associate, I pushed a cart around the store and gathered people's grocery orders, scanned barcodes with my personal handheld device, and allocated orders to the right totes and storage places. I was typically given the elite task of doing express orders, which have rushed deadlines, and substitution walks, which consisted of me trailing other OGP associates when they couldn't find certain products or the products were out. My strengths in this job included my ability to lift whole futons and 60"+ TVs and place them on a cart by myself, climb shelves to retrieve top-stocked items (many of my fellow OGP associates did not excel in the height department), and consistently having one of the fastest pick rate times in the department.

In this position, I created graphics to be used on Northwest Missouri State University's social media including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. In my time as an intern, I created a Tik Tok account for Northwest which I produced original content for. Besides content creation and planning, I also monitored post engagement and provided customer service to online users contacting the University through it's various social media accounts.

As an intern for the Nodaway County Senior Center, I worked as a one-person team to help create a foundation for NCSC's marketing. I designed an official website for NCSC and formulated strategy to expand NCSC's social media and community presence and improve engagement. This was especially important as the Covid-19 pandemic had severely affected NCSC and its ability to be open to seniors.

As a summer maintenance employee, I performed a variety of tasks including painting, cleaning, moving furniture, setting up for events, fixing simple things, and tooling around in a golf cart. I was not the best painter, but I was the only painter at a point, making me the best by default. I was oftentimes covered in more paint than the walls I was painting. I also wasn't the handiest, but learned most things can be fixed with a screwdriver if you tried hard enough. In the case that didn't work, though, there was always an abundance of duct tape in the maintenance closets. Other things I learned was to not accidentally pressure wash your own leg -- it hurts -- to not forget tools on top of a ladder you're lifting over your head -- also hurts -- and to befriend the lunch ladies because they'll save you some of the better gruel being served that day.
