I have always had a personal interest in working with people. I have developed this passion since my first guitar teaching job in high school, to my youth mentoring role with UnitingCare’s Family Services. This coupled with my enthusiasm for studying finance has led me to seek a career as a financial planner. This will require me to utilise the knowledge and leadership qualities that I will develop through my university coursework and cocurricular involvement. With new regulation and ethical standards, the Financial Planning Industry has come a long way. I believe the industry has been transforming into a profession with integrity, focused on working in the client’s best interest. I would like to support this transition by promoting positive reforms and upholding high ethical standards that will benefit clients and the Financial Planning Industry. Financial planning will allow me to have a rewarding career helping others. I aim to attain my Financial Advisory Accreditation and develop my skills to provide quality advice to clients that will help them achieve their financial goals and improve their lives.
