I am a cybersecurity professional with a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and a robust suite of industry-recognized certifications, including CompTIA PenTest+, CySA+, Security+, Network+, A+, ISC2 SSCP, and LPI Linux Essentials. My passion for cybersecurity drives me to constantly expand my knowledge and skills, particularly in the areas of threat analysis, incident response, and ethical hacking.I have hands-on experience in building and managing secure environments, demonstrated through my recent projects such as the Wazuh SIEM HomeLab and Microsoft Sentinel Live Attack Map. In my Wazuh project, I engineered a VirtualBox lab with Wazuh, Windows 10, Ubuntu, and pfSense to simulate a secure network, creating custom alerts and reports for proactive monitoring and optimizing network security. With Microsoft Sentinel, I developed a live attack map showcasing global cyber threats in real-time, enhancing data insights through automated PowerShell scripting and visualizing attack trends.My background in customer service and operational management as a restaurant manager and bartender has honed my ability to communicate effectively, solve problems under pressure, and lead teams—skills that are highly transferable to cybersecurity roles.
