My connection with the construction come from my childhood time during the time my father was building his house and at home he used to have lots of architects magazines where I used to lose ours of my childhood reading and looking at house plant and imagining all the process of building and also admiring the different styles of simple houses could be built.But when I grew up the destiny gave me a chance to work in a kitchen as a chef at 19 years old, so I got a chance to work in a cruise ship when I was 2o years old which gave me the opportunity to visit the most beautiful places in the world the same places that I used to see in those architects magazines and their local building designs.the time passed and I become a very respected and experienced chef but inside of me that love for the built environment was still on, so I took the decision to pursue what i really wanted. i entered in a carpenter course which I loved every moment, but I wanted more so i thought to do a bachelor in architect, but I never been good in drawing. so I identify myself with construction management which had all in one in the construction world and I could put in practice all I have learned about work under pressure and manage teams and busines during my chef years and practical work when I studied and worked a 1 year as carpenter .Gladly I am now a construction management student at LIT in Limerick and can’t wait to finish the studies and soon as possible be working in the built environment world.
