Caio is a vibrant professional with experience in private markets as well as Latin American emerging markets.Caio is a member of the Investment Banking Services (IBS) group within Goldman Sachs Investment Banking, where he is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to deepen client relationships and drive commercial growth across the Investment Banking franchise. IBS is the salesforce for the Investment Bank, and oversees the Investment Banking client franchise and coverage salesforce. Our IBS bankers are responsible for developing a trusted advisor relationship with our 12,000+ clients around the world and bringing the best of Goldman Sachs to help advise on mergers, provide financing solutions, and structure public offerings. Previously, Caio was a member of the Alternatives Capital Markets & Strategy (ACMS) team, a unit in the Client Solutions Group of Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management. The ACMS team oversees institutional capital markets, capital raising and client strategy for alternative investments. Investments range across both direct investing and open architecture solutions. Within ACMS, Caio was responsible for distribution and relationship management within the Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management channel as relates to alternatives investments, with a focus on private equity strategies. Caio was also responsible for business development activities with Latin American private banks and U.S. pensions, in partnership with institutional sales teams. Caio earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Connecticut in 2018. He lives in New York City.
