Hey guys, my name is Cicero Caio Martins de Barros, but you can call me Caio Martins. I born in Bahia, I'm the sixth among seven siblings and the first to enter college. I'm studying mathematics, especially because numbers have a slight crush on me, and because I was a national honorable mention and a state tri-medalist in the OBMEP (Brazilian Mathematics Olympics), I've always studied in public schools and have been working since I was 12 years old. . I've done a little bit of everything in my career, I've sold popsicle in affection, I've been a baker, butcher, metallurgical assistant, administrative assistant, in short. I often say that my hobbies define me. I am calisthenics, that means I practice physical exercises with body weight, with Calisthenics I learn to focus on the result, I understand that each day is a step towards achieving my goals. I am a reader and writer, I had the privilege of writing 2 books and I am finishing the third one, with the reading I learn that history has to have a beginning, middle and end and that it is necessary to respect each phase to reach the end with that feeling of having taken advantage of the maximum the day. I'm a musician (this says a lot about me) and music is made up of three basic elements: harmony, melody and rhythm. With harmony I learn what collective work is; With the melody I learn what is individual responsibility, each note needs to be clear and objective. With the rhythm I learn that the notes need cadence and constancy, it's not just starting, the secret is to stay. Finally, I'm passionate about learning, so whenever I have the opportunity, I'm studying, researching, listening and asking in order to better understand how the world works.
