Caio do Valle holds a BA in Architecture and Urbanism by the University Center of João Pessoa and a MA in Product Design by the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon. He is currently a Design Ph.D. student also at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, where he is a collaborative researcher at the Research Center of Architecture, Urbanism and Design - CIAUD. Since 2019, he has been part of the FCT (Science and Technology Foundation) doctorate scholarship programme.He is experienced in designing, developing, and executing architectural, urban planning, and product design projects while working at different project scales. As a member of the Bethania Tejo Architects & Associates team (2011-2013), he was involved in the co-creation of projects in hospitality, commercial and residential sectors, especially the Mussulo Beach Club, a 1400m² building dedicated to leisure and entertainment of guests at the Mussulo Resort by Mantra.Along with two partners (and old friends), he co-founded VAB Architects (2013-2016), where he worked on residential and commercial architecture, interior and furniture design by developing custom-made design projects to meet each client's needs.As part of the Superintendence of Urban Mobility team (2014-2015), he was part of the elaboration of projects committed to the improvement of urban mobility of the city of João Pessoa. During this period, he authored two projects that are currently in the budgeting process, which include a model station for BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) and the expansion of Varadouro Metropolitan Terminal, an area of approximately 10500m².For almost three years (2016-2019), he dedicated himself to investigate product design focused on the transport of domestic animals; an area that has not yet been extensively explored in the academic field, and was also the object of his master's thesis.
