Running the operations of the Pilot machines in São Paulo allowed me to develop technically and strategically at same time. It was like running a real mil: Managing a big team, delivering production, handling maintenance, dealing with customers and their needs, organizing suppliers, trying align companies’ strategy to our customer´s and product development. This extreme dynamic atmosphere allowed me to grow in many different aspects, leading a 20+ team.

✓ After being nominated for the program, I supported another business line from the group, in Germany. My technical background allowed me to support R&D for consumables, and create a solid bond to the researchers there up to today. I was also able to learn project management by supporting the head of project managers in Ravensburg. For a while, I was also leading one startup project in Germany, with a new technology developed by our Brazilian team.

✓ Responsible for implementing recently developed technologies for customer production sites. I was able to startup technologies that we had no previous experience besides pilot trials. Working closely with customer, as one interface between the companies, I created and executed Fix&Optimization plans, pushed learning curve my means of fast actions and trainings for the staff, and documented all lessons learned for future projects, sharing with engineering, R&D and projects departments.

✓ Together with the team, I was learning and making all checkouts in order to start the new machines sold. From one project to the next, I dealt with very different cultures, since we sell machines worldwide. I was able to learn skills to work on numerous equipment and process areas, besides interfacing with all our sub-suppliers. ✓ My fast learning ability allowed the company to rely on me for “special projects” where we had no expert available.✓ One particular good job was acknowledged by the headquarters, who invited me to support them to commission and start their projects also.
