Leading a dedicated bunch of volunteers supporting the Head Teacher and Senior Management Team at this excellent primary school

BABTAC is the leading UK association for beauty, hair, holistic and sports therapies. It is a not for profit organisation governed by a board of industry specialists and professionals. Our objective is to raise standards within the beauty industry and seek to protect and educate members of the public.CIBTAC is an educational awarding body within the beauty sector offering both QCF and bespoke qualifications throughout the world. I joined the Board in June 2016 having worked as an advisor to the board for 3 years. Collectively we provide strategic leadership and functional oversight and support to the management team. In particular we act as the voice of the business and of the industry so effective communication is key. Individually I am responsible for guiding recruitment, talent development, HR and compliance at director level. I believe my key skills are integrity, sound judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, strategic awareness, determination and a desire to experience new professional challenges.

Returning to this voluntary position to help develop the charity further to ensure an excellent standard of pre-school care and education in Walton Cardiff

All aspects of the HR function from recruitment, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, annual policy review. I also dealt with union matters and provided onsite guidance to managers and directors
