Cait is a foreign policy analyst, a writer, and a Boymom x3. As a former Foreign Affairs Officer with the U.S. Department of State, Cait applies her policymaking experience to her research and analysis of key U.S. foreign policy issues, and endeavors to publish insightful and pragmatic content that is useful to the diplomatic and national security communities. Cait is an advocate for the advancement of the Youth, Peace, and Security agenda as a critical framework for U.S. foreign policy.Cait has written countless remarks delivered on behalf of the United States at the UN Security Council. She has led negotiations on UN peacekeeping mandates and formulated U.S. policy toward a large peacekeeping mission with a $1 billion annual budget and over 17,000 peacekeepers on the ground. She has consulted with young activists and peacebuilders from around the world, and led efforts to implement the Youth, Peace, and Security agenda.
