As a Marine Mammal Education and Research Intern at the New England Aquarium, duties included collecting, transcribing, photo-identification and analyzing data relating to marine mammals sighted in the Stellwagen Bank Region. Additionally, I provide engaging environmental interpretation for the public while aboard the commercial whale watching vessels.I would execute daily behavioral and statistical data collection while engaging 300+ passengers while ensuring an understanding of the importance of marine ecosystems health upon departure.
