I worked part time (10 hours) as a golf assistant with Paradise Island. This role was multifaceted encompassing various aspects including customer service, time keeping, cash handling alongside crowd management. Working within the pay booth I would be responsible for serving customers, taking their payments and getting them ready to start their game. In other aspects, I would queue manage (particularly on weekends due to Covid regulations) to ensure the smooth operation of the centre during busy periods.

This role had various elements including customer service, cleaning, cash handling, waitressing and I would often close at the end of the night. Serving customers was a large share of the role and involved providing excellent customer service which I was able to foster within this role as it was my first job. Taking orders and having clear communication with the kitchen staff was also an important aspect alongside making sure the bar was clean at all times.
