I have worked as a Teacher of Biology, Chemistry, Sociology and Environmental Systems and Societies since 2012, teaching both A Level and IB. I have been a Sixth Form tutor throughout, acted as a Boarding Housemistress in an international school for students aged 11-18 and for the past 5 years have acted as a Boarding Housemistress at a girls' school for students in the Upper 6th. I have been a deputy dean of higher education further supporting students with their applications for university, providing particular support for those wishing to study medicine and/or the life sciences. This involved reference writing, proof reading and interview practice. I am passionate about Biology and read widely to keep my knowledge up to date.
