Community Matters. Building behavioral skills, makes a difference in our communities and our lives. Starting December 2020, we are specializing as a contracted provider with the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Child and Family Services (DHHS/OCFS) Section 28 Children's Behavioral Rehabilitative and Community Services in Maine for children with cognitive and functional disabilities. We work with children to help them build social skills, behavioral management skills and skills for daily living, to help them gear their lives to achieve their fullest potential. We help people build healthy coping skills. Discovering we are all living a real story and sometimes we need help to learn to live it better and make it work, for success. We are about helping families and children improve their lives, through making mindful, healthy choices, managing behaviors, and being part of community in productive, meaningful ways. More broadly and outside of Section 28 Services, we are striving to improve people's lives in families and communities, as we learn to live and work together, as independently as possible and with help where it is needed. We work with a data-driven, evidence-based approach to achieve measureable outcomes. That means we help to make a record of the steps to success, and to achieve key social and behavioral goals. We also emphasize utilizing creative approaches that can be documented as we support children and families in learning in daily life, with both the basics, with workife balance and with healthy creative approaches.
