I interned for the executive producer of Good Morning Cincinnati. I posted wire stories and wrote stories for online. I learned how to write for broadcast and occasionally went out to get my own sound bites and photos for stories. On days that I wasn't working in the newsroom, I went out with a morning reporter and photographer to work on my resume tape.

The Northerner is NKU's independent student-run newspaper. I started out as a contributing writer in my first semester at NKU and moved from that to a staff writer, Arts & Life editor and managing editor. I resigned due to accepting a position at Local 12/WKRC-TV.
