Having graduated from the University of Chichester with an upper second class (2:1) honours degree in BA Early Childhood Studies in 2018, I have been dedicated to working in roles with children both as a Nursery Practitioner, and a Private Nanny. Here I have not only enhance my skills in childcare and development, but also the necessary skills for future employment, such as teamwork, organisation, communication and punctuality. I hope to secure work within the governmental side of our UK’s childcare and education systems where I aim to work alongside, or for, children, providing them with the equal opportunities that others receive across the country. My aims for my long term career would focus around involvement with the education system, and aiding children to learn and develop within our communities. I have developed communication and teamwork skills through group and individual presentation work in my years at university, whilst being a key part of school Prefect team. Throughout my years at University I had been involved with the University of Chichester Women’s American Football team. Within the team I was a member of the committee where I undertook the role of Secretary, I would be key to organising memberships, game arrangements and the maintenance of kit, developing my time management and organisational skills, which I am able to use in the workplace. On the field, I was delighted to be appointed a team Captain for defence, where I was able to enhance my leadership skills to get the best out of the team and think these skills can be used within my future employment both at current levels and should managerial opportunities arise.
