About Cait Davin
I am a dynamic International Development professional. Building on a strong background of studies in Public Health and Human Sexuality, I have demonstrated experience in efficient organizational processes, data analysis and synthesis.Growing up in rural Appalachia, at a young age I recognized the differences in gender roles, and specifically, the impact on teenage pregnancy. During my undergraduate degree, I studied Public Health in Health Promotion and Education, and minored in Human Sexuality and Non-Profit Management. After graduating, I spent a year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA with a regional foodbank in rural Appalachia, where I focused on capacity building projects such as passive fundraising programs, grantwriting, and communications management. In continuing positions, I worked on non-profit administration and project management. In 2018, I finished my Master's degree program in International Administration, with a concentration in Gender and Development. During my program, I spent 6 months in Geneva, Switzerland, taking classes, learning French and working as a Gender Equality Intern with UNHCR. I am currently working with the Institute for Reproductive Health at Georgetown University as a Program Associate, supporting a variety of global norms-shifting interventions in sexual and reproductive health.
