My role as Technical Product Manager placed me firmly at the crossroad of User Experience and Product Management. I understood and communicated user needs, I helped to prioritize product features, and I worked with both internal and external stakeholders to define and execute a product vision. I worked on an ever-evolving suite of both internal and external web pages and applications, and I do it all with a smile.

As a key member of the Technology team, I kept all technology and systems up and running to keep the business moving. I was responsible for gathering business requirements from business users in order to identify and implement new feature and application requests on a monthly basis. I also created our user guides and conducted monthly new hire trainings to make sure every new employee was fully equipped and trained on all our integral systems.

I started my career at Innovatix as a receptionist, where in addition to administrative and office management duties I also managed our member-facing website and created marketing journeys using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to keep members up to date on key company information.

As a Customer Service Representative I was a masterful event organizer for major events of over 200 attendees. In addition to managing contracts and coordinating logistics with venues and vendors, I also assisted with day-of coordination including attendee registration and technical support.

My work at BraTenders spanned various duties, including bringing the company website and social media presence into the 21st century, dramatically increasing the number of appointments and online orders. I also coordinated orders and deliveries from local theaters, and provided high-touch service for private customers, generating repeat business.

This role was Mary Poppins meets Jennifer Lopez’s role in The Wedding Planner. Beyond being a personal nanny and attending to normal childcare duties, I also coordinated events, ranging from intimate to extravagant, for this private family, including booking venues, managing and coordinating vendors and caterers, and handling day-of logistics to make sure every event was on-budget and an event to remember.
