Caitlin is a PhD candidate and an Academic Tutor in the Discipline of Strategy, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at the University of Sydney Business School. She has a passion for exploring the impact of industry-level changes on regional Australian communities, and how collective identity and attachment to place influence their responses. Her PhD research focuses on Hunter Valley coal mining communities. She has received multiple awards and scholarships for her exceptional work and teaching. Caitlin has a background in organisational policy, statistics, and social policy, and has previously worked as a Specialist Human Resources Advisor, a Grants and Awards Support Officer, and as a Research Assistant in various academic and governmental settings.Until mid-2023, Caitlin was the Project Manager for the Holistic Management Educator Program at Vanguard Business Services. This pilot philanthropically-funded initiative aimed to develop a new generation of Holistic Management educators who can support families and communities to move towards an agriculturally regenerative future. Fourteen of the sixteen competitively selected participants achieved accreditation as Holistic Management Educators by the end of the 18-month project. Vanguard Business Services will run the program again in 2024/25 with further philanthropic support.
