For this job, I worked closely with a supervisor who determined my schedule and what farms I would be heading to throughout the week. I managed my time to ensure I got to farms early in the morning and was able to complete the task (except where multiple days were needed) before the end of the day. I traveled to farms in various locations, and made use of ATV and RTV vehicles to cover a majority of each farm, walking/driving through and tracking any observations and plant progression in a report generating app. I observed things such as disease, damage, plant growth, overall health, deficiencies, pest and animal presence, etc. and generated a report that I would send to a team of agronomists as well as the managers of that specific farm.

Initially hired as the Garden Center waterer, my position quickly evolved to encompass overall retail sales in the Garden Department as well as cashiering and all that encompasses such as phone answering, taking orders over the phone, finding and changing e-commerce orders, customer service, checking people out in person, and helping to carry out items.
