•Using a computer system called Adastra I was required to carry out a number of jobs, allowing me to speak to a range of people and understand a wide array of services. Some of these include;Taking messages for district nurse services across Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale and relaying these using the appropriate method in an acceptable time frame.Taking messages for Oldham out of hours district nurse services and passing these over the phone.GP and Dental out of hours for a range of areas across North Manchester, keeping in-line with patient confidentiality and allowing the patient to feel safe under the care of the service.•Taking referrals from the 111 service and assisting with any queries they have.•Taking referrals from North West Ambulance paramedics on scene and ambulance control, appropriately handling deaths of patients, expected and unexpected.•Correctly documenting abnormal lab results with care and confidentiality.•Documenting and faxing referrals from GPs to crisis response in a limited time frame.•Contacting GP surgeries across the country to ensure they have received out of hours consultations for their patients.•Booking extended hours appointments for patients using EMIS computer system.•Dispatching cars with the appropriate medical staff and driver to different areas to ensure the patient is seen within a limited time frame. This includes organising the visits in order of priority and urgency.

•Skills using vision; updating patient records, locating patient details, coding.•Answering the phones and dealing with patient queries•Using AskMyGP to communicate with patients effectively and in a timely manner.  •Organising the workload for booking coronavirus vaccination appointments; creating an effective system so patients received the most efficient service, whilst allocating the workload appropriately to other staff members.

•Arranging hospital transport for patients who needed extra support. I was required to liaise with patients and the North West Ambulance Service.•Sending appointment letters to patients that had been referred to specialist services, ensuring patient details were kept confidential.•Booking appointments for patients that had received letters, being flexible and understanding their needs.•Any further admin support that the team required.
