Provide street-based healthcare and education to unhoused communities across LA County as part of both the street medicine and COVID vaccination teams. This includes COVID testing, wound care, harm reduction services, pregnancy tests, management of medical conditions on the street, referrals to clinics, MAT programs, and other county programs, and working alongside community partners, including substance use counselors, mental health counselors, and housing.Support both the flu shot campaign and COVID vaccinations by offering vaccines to unhoused patients at homeless encampments and community events.As a Cold Chain Operator Captain, I also train clinicians on the temperature-controlled supply chain of vaccines from our dispensary to encampments in the field to properly preserve vaccine integrity and monitor doses used.

Provide care for a woman with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) during both day and night shifts. Assist in day to day activities, help her achieve her physical therapy goals through stretching and other dynamic activities, administer medication, supplements, and vitamins as required by doctors. Utilize machines such as cough assist machine, BiPAP, and nebulizer when needed.

Take orders and complete drink orders for customers with our hand- crafted coffee and tea using the rotating tap system. Possess knowledge of drinks and advise customers as they create their own drink to avoid food allergies and cater to customers' taste preferences. Responsible for washing dishes and maintaining a warm, welcoming community environment.

Studied the effects of learning and behavior on the marine invertebrates, Aplysia californica and Dolabrifera dolabrifera, under Dr. Bill Wright. My role included data collection and analysis, as well as writing research grant proposals. During the summer of 2018, I also mentored research fellows through the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program at Chapman. As a student mentor, I taught them basic neurophysiology and trained them on techniques that are commonly used in the MIB lab, such as how to run a sensitization experiment, code, and score data. We also focused extensively on professional development, including how to present research and communicate research in poster presentation sessions. In the spring of 2019, I worked with two groups of students from Dr. Wright's Marine Biology class on a semester- long research project examining different circumstances in which learning and behavior may be modified in Aplysia.

Worked with Chapman University's Alumni Engagement Department to get university feedback. Conducted in- person, Skype, and telephone calls to discuss with alumni how Chapman has been beneficial since they have graduated and in what areas Chapman can improve
